WEBB HEADS TO SPA FOR ROUND 2

Following a podium first time out at Silverstone in Round 1, Oli heads out to the famous Spa-Francorchamps circuit in Belgium.  Known for its Eau Rouge / Raidillon combination. Having negotiated La Source hairpin, Oli will race down a straight to the point where the track crosses the Eau Rouge stream before being launched steeply uphill into a sweeping left-right-left collection of corners with a blind summit, surely one of the most thrilling and spectacular parts of a race track anywhere in the world.

The 6 hour race takes place on May 7th at 14:30 local time.

“Although we had some mechanical problems at Silverstone which put us out of reach of a win, we were pleased to make the podium and our pace was very competitive. The team have been working really hard to give us a car the can challenge for victories and we’re all in positive spirits heading into Round 2.  It’s an incredible track, one of the best in the world, so I’m sure it going to be a great spectacle for the fans and hopefully we can come away with maximum points”.

Oli sits third in the Championship heading into this weekend.
