“To win the Championship and to be a regular top three podium finisher.”
That is Oli Webb’s aim for the 2012 Firestone Indy Lights Championship at just 20 years of age.
This will be Oli’s first year in Indy Lights after a very succesful year in British Formule 3 International with 3 wins, 14podiums, 4 poles and 4 fastest laps. Webb also competed in 3 rounds of Indy lights at Edmonton, Baltimore and Vegas getting a podium in his first ever race, this was along side his Worldseries by Renault Campaign in 2011.
Oli’s Testing for 2012 will be all over the USA during the months of Febuary and March. As well as being on the MSA Elite and BRDC Superstars Schemes, Oliver has become a full member of the BRDC (british racing drivers club) for life, so tht he may represent the UK while in the USA.
Oli is busy with PR and training as of present, with the MSA Elite and BRDC Supertar Schemes.
Webb is confident for 2012, being a front runner all year in 2010 and having lead the Championship in F3
