Brands sees Oli as top Carlin driver

After a hard fought qualifying which left Oliver lying 8th in Qualifying 1 and 12th in qualifying 2 due to a racing incident with Callum Holland. Race 1 saw a miss judged start from Webb in the rain loosing 2 places before the first corner but toughed it out to the end to finish 5tha after taking Sato in the final seconds.

Race 2 brought dry weather and a fight for a place on the rookie podium; it was a hard battle as Webb had the pace to pass all 4 cars in front but couldn’t afford a non finish. Many times Oli got side by side with Sam Abay but couldn’t quite pull it off due to the aerodynamic loss when battling. The last round held at Knockhill will certainly bring the chance of a podium as Oli matches is best ever finishng at Brands.
